When Stars Collide Darkened skies Enlightened souls Careening through black night Disheartened cries Opposing poles Felt though not in sight Ever sagacious Though not rapacious As they travel toward new love Burn with intent So un-content At no whispers from above Instincts guide Directed course The past it trails behind Small guilt inside Yet no remorse This meeting of two minds A charted path Frustrated wrath At pain of separation Yet still they fly ‘Cross cosmic sky In search of immolation When futures meet Soul mates born When distances have died Know not defeat Nor words of scorn On the days these stars collide Explosions Implosions Two gentle giants meld To clarify And justify Inside these hearts they've held No more doubts Away all fears Forget all past transgressions To heavens shout Let the world hear, Feel this lasting impression |

Did someone call for a genius? What do you mean you meant Christopher? Just kidding, bud, this poem has always a favorite of mine even if some people can't tell insanity from genius....LOL Michael |

Wonderful poem, as per usual! Michael, since Christopher is an Aquarius, I should tell you that more geniuses are born under that astrological sign than any other! And I'm not just saying that because it's my sign too! |

Chris: I remember this and it's just as powerful now.. HUSG The grape passes through the press to yield wine. Your life must pass through the press of passion and pain to yield the wine of wisdom.. |

Yep -- I still like this one! (But I'm not convinced about all that "genius" stuff -- hehehe) --Me Full fathom five thy father lies, Of his bones are coral made, Those are pearls that were his eyes; Nothing of him that doth fade But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange... --William Shakespeare, from The Tempest |

Genius? *snort* LOL... This is one of my fav's, friend...glad to see it again! May I never be too busy to help another's load, Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed. --Author Unknown |
