I want to thank all of you again for all of your caring, your thoughts and your prayers. The news today was very good....no sign of the cancer anywhere right now.... but my urologist wants to do another biopsy as a precaution, just to make sure that there is nothing left in the walls of my bladder, which she couldn't see today. It isn't scheduled yet, but I'll know soon, when it will be. I really think that it wasn't just medical treatment which got rid of the cancer....I know that your prayers had a LOT to do with it. I want to thank all of my loving friends here at Passions for giving me this wonderful safety net and a place to vent.  ~ loving thanks to all of you.Lyra |

Dear Lyra, I am so relieved.... I never had a chance to reply to your previous thread but I was rooting for you.. You are in my prayers that the doctors find not a thing.... Kacy...I was so excited when I got home, that I started calling everyone and I talked so much that I now have laryngitis....actually its from a cold I caught from David. It doesn't hurt, but its annoying not to be able to speak above a whisper....but I wouldn't care if I had laryngitis forever, if I knew the cancer wouldn't come back. Unfortunately, I will never know that unless it does... I will also be having a biopsy within the next 2-4 weeks to make sure that its totally all clear....I am hoping that it will be. Sherry...thanks so much. It feels so good that I have been jumping up and down and grinning ear to ear all day....I also lost my voice by talking to so many of my relatives on the phone tonight. Last night I posted a poem, "Lyrical Lyra." And just now, a 'quickie' in open 20 called "The Chipmunk That Roars," or something like that! I don't even remember what the title is!!!!!It is good to hear you roar. Hehe, now maybe it'll be a soft purr though, with a sore throat!  |

Thanks so much Titia....I hope so...but it is still a "maybe" because I have to await the results of the biopsy which I will have on June 24. The week after that will be another nervous time for me....although I don't think this tumor would DARE to come back...or to still be there....theres always the worry. But of course, the odds of going to Fla in Sept have improved a bit. ~ hopeful hugsLyra |

I still have to face a scary biopsy on June 24....and no matter how much I really KNOW that they won't find anything...it still makes me nervous.
