Often I've been asked Why the words so sad Flow from my pen at night And land gently on my pad After thinking on it awhile The only answer I can give Is I write of what I know And the life I've lead All the storys told in here Are from the heart and sadly true Exceptions are made of course For the fantansys, there's a few Take away the two "Hero" and "Red Dragon Inn" Then the rest tell a tale Of the places I have been There's some happy ones Mixed in with all the bad But they are far and in between Like the happy times I've had I don't see myself as suicidal And depression, that's not for me So I pick up my pen and paper And write for therapy I share in here the hidden things That in real life I couldn't tell If my words bring some emotion Then I feel its' written well I don't mean to bring you down Or to make you cry So thanks to all who read my words And kindly post replys With a little piece of tomorrow, You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye. Because today won't last forever, And the past will only make you cry. |
