Life, If you believe in it. Death, If you believe in it. Ghosts If you refuse For those who are misers And will not believe in any or either Their eyes will dim As light within Falls from their grasp Their breath, it comes in a choking rasp, And smiles fall short of joy. Life, If you believe in it. Death, If you believe in it. Me, I favor life Though tears, sorrow, joy be rife I pray each day For smiles that stay With love higher than skies! I feel sorry for the ghost Who does not know what matters most Who cannot see that heaven is here and heaven on earth Is there for those who seek this mirth Life, If you believe in it. Death, If you believe in it. Me, I’ll favor death When living is sweet Then death for the dead is easy to greet When I am to die, No longer to try Peace and love are mine. I will lived and truly loved Heaven already found But still I am sorry for the ghost For whom Heaven on earth Ended so near birth For whom hell was not in dying But in grief, for not trying. If you feel like a ghost swallowing grief like a pill Till in your heart you feel quite ill Take this as a warning And when you wake in the morning Remember I know how you feel Believe in your demise And know you’re alive Or believe that you will breathe And know you’ll have to leave But do not become a ghost so mean By subscribing to a wishy washy in-between |

Wow, I loved this one. I like this part especially, Life If you believe in it Death If you believe in it It just sort of brings the whole poem together. Like having a summery at the beginning of the poem. Great write. TJ [&] she's a blood broken rose |

Thanks guys! Not one of my best writes but it means somthing to me so... Falling rain: Mirth means joy. It's connotations are less serious than joy but it rymes so I used it. You can replace it with any of these words to get my meaning: cheer, cheerfulness, gladness, glee, happiness, joyousness, laughs, laughter, lightheartedness, and rejoicing. Hmmmm can you... I could do somthing about that. As for Brother Bytheway I love the guy! His stuff's amazing...in fact if I'm not very much mistaken one of his CD's is in my computer right now. Ooo music, Kate if you haven't heard of them go find the band Everclean, CD and movie is called Sons of Provo! Absolutly hillarious! "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." Earl |
