One heaven sent to soothe my pain To quench the fires as cleansing rain, One sent to deftly catch my tears, One sent to erase tortured years. One heaven sent to heal my heart I felt the gulf close from the start, One sent to bleed the venom dry, One sent to console every sigh. One heaven sent, eternal love. As she steps down from clouds above, One sent now to help me forget The tears, bile and blood I’ve shed. Dedicated to Shannon, my beloved. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. [This message has been edited by Balladeer (02-19-2009 03:40 PM).] |

Thanks guys. No I didn't draw the picture though I wish that I was that good, I can however console myself in that I have a modest skill in poetry... at least I hope so. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |

Nice Poem and nice art work. Very well done. The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |
