lipstick smeared all over pretty cigarettes smoke; dancing in the summer moon through hazy rings you sit dreaming of home cars go by ominous traffic that you once called your own lights dance among the city streets now winter breath fills up the sky with memories lost and faces past slowly humming the traffic dulls but inside you know it's just the beginning. the taxi comes you miss it again another chance gone and the only trace left are the shadows on the street. |
