Gone A Thousand Miles I remember the night we said good night, and not goodbye, I'd only be gone a thousand miles... first time I ever saw you cry... didn't think you had it in you, not too much the sentimental type, still feel the warmth on my fingertips from those tears I felt the need to wipe. And then you said you do love me, first time you spoke it in eleven years, funny how it's the simple things that can bring a woman down to tears. So there we sat crying in all our glory, divine... but we both awoke next morning realizing the sun does shine... knowing I'll be forever in your heart and you'll always be in mine. I was only gone a thousand miles. ~ |

Nobody can say it quite the way you do. This is so lovely, as has been said! The picture adds a serene quality. All in all, I would have to say done to perfection, Dixie. Sandra |
