Calling Heaven Now thats what I call heaven. One hundred lovely Asian women all dressed up in their finest silk and linen. I've never seen so many fine Hanboks since the last Korean Thanksgiving. JamesLee 06October 2006 A hanbok is a fine silk formal dress worn by some Koreans on Thanksgiving, New Years and weddings. |

James, Yes, a delight to read! A couple of weeks ago, I did some research on silk for fun. Since you included silk in your poem, I thought you might enjoy some trivia I learned: If unwrapped, how long would the silk thread of a cocoon be? If you said about a mile long, YOU ARE RIGHT! Ding, Ding, Ding... Next question: If one cocoon gives a mile length of thread, how many cocoons will it take to make a shirt? About a thousand cocoons or miles of silken thread... I am just amazed. Thought you might be, too. Again, I enjoyed your poem. misc ] PS Thank you for your information, as well as a nice poem! |

Thanks for sharing your little bit of heaven! I can see their beauty and your smiling face! ~ and it is so nice to see a man who appreciates women as much as you do. Aloha hugs, Dear Island Man! Linda |
