No feather floats by at this time of night when birds are asleep and only I weep and trees no longer seek autumn relief in the spring of a life beginning again. There are words in the quiet of solitude like the longing within coming out in the world not slow like the growing but a speedy unfurl of love’s so intense emotional needs. Summer forestalls for one moment more to watch and wait for the shiver and shake to cease and recede like leaves under rake dispatched to the fire of sated desire. The end comes in with the breathe, breathe in, of the so cold alone winter repose and the dream, the feel, in sudden foreclose succumbs to the rise of reality. Summation unsteady moves around views and I can say nought but that a soul pact impacts on a mind true love’s interact when the birds are asleep and only I weep! Helen / 7 October 2006 |

Helen Any season or place, you are not the only one that weeps. You pulled me in, and took me to winter come spring. [This message has been edited by Martie (10-07-2006 03:37 PM).] |

Honeybunch, Wink. Sometimes I am moved in such a way after reading a poem, that I am unable to grasp words to amply respond. This is such a time. misce' |
