I hear hushed conversations “This is so terrible.” “What can a person do?” “It can happen anywhere.” I see sad faces I feel the anguish. And I cry for the children. |

Yes. I cry for them, too, yet, in the back of my head, I praise them with a mixture of tears and joy. Our children have had to develop much wisdom and strength. In many ways, they could be our teachers... They are amazing. It is a tragedy that innocent lives have been lost! Thank you for your reflective poem, aziza. I appreciate your words. miscellanea |
