As I get off the airplane
Heading toward my old life
Is everything going to be there
Am I thinking the way
That life is going to take me

Seeing my old friends
Realizing their different
Now I know
That this old life is just in my dreams

Standing back away from all that
Trying to realize that
Everything here is new
New life
New friends

Now I know where I stand
My life belongs to my new life
I have to realize that
My life is changing

No matter how much
I like for it to all combine
I know it wont
But im happy
That I am a different person
