My whole life changed but yours stayed the same, I don't feel like I felt before and no one is to blame. Our history will never leave my heart, I still love you, but in a different way, the way we were is not something that I can have in my life today. God has given me the strength to grow out of that love I had, that sweetly sinful forbidden affair that never failed to make me sad. I would love for us to be as close as friendship will allow, this is how my whole life changed, I wish you were happy like I am now. I would cherish you as a friend... that part of us doesn't have to end. Are you willing to accept that it's all we can be? If perchance, you say "no" I'll miss you terribly. But my whole life changed. |

Takes courage and conviction Dixie...hang in, your own may be tested from time to time.. REMEMBER how you feel right now....It is a beautiful feeling, isn't it? |

Stay strong and don't let your guard down, sweetums. Getting close again, even just as friends, could be synonymous with an alcoholic taking that first drink. Linda |

My dear friend, do you know how happy I am for you. My advice for you about him (even friendship) is to STAY AWAY FROM THE SCUM. Don't trust him any further than you can throw a ball. And if by chance you can throw a ball far, then don't trust him any further than I can throw a ball. |

the way we were is not something that I can have in my life today. ~*~ And so it is, we live, we learn, we grow beyond ourselves, as you have, and will continue to do. And those who don't grow, become stagnant, rooted, and rot. |
