I am sixteen going past sixty and had a belated birth for only one man on this planet earth said, “Wake up - you’re now a girl!” Totally unprepared was I for things beyond my Ken, Tom, Dick, and Harry and even a Ben who came out of nowhere then. I am sixteen going past sixty and I cannot reconcile feelings and mind that don’t coincide down there at the point of life. Here is a girl of sixteen years completely in love with you with eyes on the blue, the blue, blue, blue until you age backwards too. I am sixteen going past sixty; who will change places, please being me, you see, is quite an ordeal in skin of the elderly! Helen / 1 October 2006 |

Well, I have decided to be 16 foreverly but with the wisdom of a sixty-year-old! I just avoid looking in mirrors! Anyway, they have been known to lie! Love the "light relief"! Happy hugs 'n thoughts, Linda |

I like this. It makes me think of all the 60 year olds who try to look 16 with the face lifts and tummy tucks, etc. Age is only a state of mind for the most part. Rae |

Thanks, Linda - I think I'll join your club "16 foreverly" as long as their are definitely no mirrors allowed! Rae - Thanks for the read. I don't believe in messing with nature even though nature here could do with some help. |

Always knew you were younger than you said. Don't think I ever got past Alice Coopers 18 when he said, Lines form on my face and my hands Lines form on the left and right I'm in the middle the middle of life I'm a boy and I'm a man I'm eighteen and I LIKE IT. |

Thanks, Nancy - yes, I had that song in my head at the time of writing but wish it didn't have to be changed to suit the circumstances. Frank - I couldn't wait to be 18 but gone in a flash it was - such a pity. I'll just have to go backwards and stick with the invisible 16 but, if memory serves me right, your 18 can be seen. |
