Not from a plane down to the ground, not from a mountain to the seaside, but really up close and personal “like” I looked at the threat of imminent death nestled within my present life stream. In venturing near I slipped and fell in and I thought there would be a lifeboat casually “like” tied to the reeds ready and able to sail me right out but, no, I succumbed and floundered in doubt as to life’s worthiness. There for a day and maybe I stayed in the fight or don’t fight debate until the skin all crinkly “like” and the water as cold as ice but so the sun rose on another day “sort of like” a life giving drug easy, so easy, to take ~ and I held out my hands palms up to the "whatever will be, will be"!
