Its Upon My Heart I Gauge While I ponder this and that Not yet turning the page My heart and mind debate At the procrastinating stage As procrastination continues Decisions are adjourned Postponing the next stage Thoughts tossed and turned Always needing to be certain Decisions will come later One step forward two back As always the procrastinator Keeping my mind over matter Its upon my heart I gauge I am not one to go headlong Life I pondered at every stage Heart is half full or half empty Emotions flow in and out Whatever decisions I make Will be those I am sure about Hope ©2006 Link to the poem with music and graphic below http://thestarlitecafe.com/poems/102/poem_8364871.html |

Hope, my friend, sometimes we have to just jump. Risk is good for keeping the heart young. (mind you, I said "sometimes") What a great thing it was to just pack up and leave off to another world, for me. I wasn't sure of anything, and I even thought I might have lost my mind, but it did me so much good. Now I say "certainty is boring" LOL |
