5717 Aliento del Viento 22 September 2006 Careyann, you are like heaven and each together as one The sky and the land captured in a vista of exploding stars A tropical island on a winters day and the rain after a storm all becalming Eres la belleza creando belleza Tu eres tan natural como la misma naturaleza Tu eres el brillo del sol, aun de noche y mas aun eres la suave caida de la cascada bajo la gracia de tu dulce mirada Eres la sombra del crepusculo la luna en una noche lista para amar Pensar en tí es dulce y pura felicidad como tu deseo por la belleza interior alcanzar Careyann, you’re all God made a woman of substance, high in standing Cuando caminas, aun el viento se detiene tan solo para esperar y tomar aliento When you walk, even the wind stands just to wait a moment to take a breath 5718 Breath of Wind 22 September 2006 Careyann, you are like heaven and each together as one The sky and the land captured in a vista of exploding stars A tropical island on a winters day and the rain after a storm all becalming You are beauty in the invention of beauty you are nature as nature in natures arms You are the sunshine, even at night And most of all, you are the softness of a cascading waterfall, in eyes of grace You are the shadow in the sunset the moon on a night prepared for love To think of you in sweet happiness your desire to achieve a beauty from within Careyann, you’re all God made a woman of substance, high in standing When you walk, even the wind stands just to wait a moment to take a breath “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2: 7 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
