I`m fixing the dairy shelf

A girl comes, picks a carton of milk, smiles

"Hello"

"Hi there."

In her eyes I see my own beauty reflected.

I can`t shake my grandfathers genes

That draw browneyed beings

And I`m oblivious

To these miracles of secret workings.

But she`s thirsty for blond milk

I`m tied

I scream as I look into the sun

The next time I see her

She`s with

Another sailor.

Well done!
Very much enjoyed the read.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

"In her eyes I see my own beauty reflected.

I can`t shake my grandfathers genes" ~ Hmm! I'm intrigued!

~ Could you post a photo of your grandfather? lol

Glad to see you posting again! It's been awhile!
