Where does a Thought Go? |

Once thought, where does a thought go? Does it drift somewhere, tickling the atmosphere, or does it simply vanish, perhaps forever? Does it linger in some dark enclave, hidden from the light of day, safely tucked away, ready to emerge once more, bright and clever? Perhaps it needs companionship: the stray thoughts of Man, a gathering of the clan, to nourish it and guide it toward completion. And in that soup of notions, will it then cohere with others far and near and build a super-thought, beyond deletion? |

Bill - I have many times pondered this same question but I do know that there are those who hear our every thought. Maybe they act on them and send them back as "things" so we do need to be careful of them. Good write! Helen |

Maybe we are likened to Star Wars or Star Trek... we have memory banks. We store each memory so as we ponder life we pull from this archive of thought and bring it forth. Good write on what happens to a thought. Sometimes I think my brain is lost in limbo unable to find the right words or thoughts to express. Good jobber Hugs BonBon |

the stray thoughts of Man, a gathering of the clan, to nourish it and guide it ~*~ they become stories after the action is accomplished. I certainly enjoy your questions and your wisdom. |

Thanks, guys, for responding to this one--I appreciate your kindness. I was going to add a profound thought, but it seems to have gone astray! Cheers, Bill |

And what thought can every human on this earth agree on? Can it exist? A provoking read. Thank you for making me think. BK |

Hmmm. Interesting musings, Dublin Boy! I believe that all thoughts become part of the Collective Consciousness. Thoughts are energy and therefore they cannot be destroyed. However, they can be transformed ~ into poetry! A penny for your thoughts! Warm hug 'n smile, EA |
