Here lies a wilted, withered rose, Discarded from the vase; Was carried off on phantom wings Into a dying haze. No more the embers glowing bright, No more the flames will sear; Ashes cold will now remain Moistened with single tear. But shed no tears upon this grave, Do not drown in sorrow; For the rose is fired everlasting - Will bloom again tomorrow. t [This message has been edited by troubadour (09-22-2006 09:04 AM).] |

The title is inviting, the well written piece is sad, yet holding hope. It's a keeper for me. Rae |
