Won't

"I know that I have to let go of her..."

But my heart won't let me.
It wants to stay connected
for some reason that seems
reasonable enough to me.
At least in those moments
when I remember precious
times we shared, moments
when I believed that
she honestly cared...
But then there are times
when I have moments of despair
and I question myself, "How
could she leave me, if
she truly cared?"
Thats when I seem the
closest to giving up,
but still I don't,
and until I find
the right reason
I suppose I won't.
