Sitting side by side on a mellow summers day While clouds of Blue butterflies keep hovering away To ride sunflowers in hidden bowers. What would you say... What could you say... Words would float away, on a cool summer breeze That seems to blow for just you and me You smile and the years just melt away What could you possibly say to me? Time's already stopped, and as the sky clouds over Tiny raindrops fall to wash away your tears For We have nothing to fear.... |

Reminds me of a time I spent with someone close to me, just before she moved away...James |

This is very touching. It's as though their eyes, touch and the scenery says it all. I especially like when she smiles the years melt away. Probably partly due to my old age. Very nice piece of work. Rae |

Walter Mitty, thank you for sharing a poignant and memorable moment of your "Secret Life". I found the following lines especially beautiful ~ "Sitting side by side on a mellow summers day While clouds of Blue butterflies keep hovering away To ride sunflowers in hidden bowers." So vividly descriptive! EA |

Thank you Rae, RevengeIsMine, for your kind words! James, probably because I had the same thing happen to me. Earth Angel, well, you caught me... remember "ta-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa"? |
