If I could write a message on your skin,
I know exactly how I would begin.

I love you, I would write, so when ink dried,
my burning love for you would be inside.

Absorbed through living tissue to the bone;
which means, my love, you'd never be alone.

The memory and thrill of our first touch,
when love and lust could never seem too much

would be forever written on your skin--
and that's exactly how I would begin.
