You claimed my innocence like it was yours to take You tied me down, made me feel fake Can I ever forgive you for what you did? A hopeless love; I was only a kid You took advantage of the child inside Yet in your arms I chose to hide Don’t dwell on faces from long ago Another chance to me you owe But cherish what I gave to you A secret past, another view |
