5701 To be all Mine 16 September 2006 No one world believe the fairytale the day I make love to you No one would know how it felt to look into your eyes without looking right through They would never see the beauty or touch the flesh in the same way No one would to you with more meaning “I love and adore you”, say Each moment of your whisper nothing so sweet As mind and your bodies rub in an embrace from head to feet Such expression, such glamour as if locked in time No I would be the thief the criminal perhaps To take you hand and gentle fingers in asking you to be all mine “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” Genesis 2: 25 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
