Ah Mark Still you write With such despair Yet here you are Over a game or two Drinking wine as I Beneath the light Of yet another winter moon Isn’t it then just not possible There’s something yet That never the less Despite the darkness Still makes it all worthwhile Come my friend We are now old men I’ll accept enough That you sip the cup And simply smile . |
