Goodbye is such a sad word
Final, without potential
It’s not required to say it
In leaving, it’s not essential

It would be nice to know
That your life was impacted
By the words I wrote,
By the way that I interacted

Touching my heart as you have
It’s hard holding back the tears
Goodbye is such a final word
At last, after all these years

Take a breath, smile as though
We knew it would always be
And as you travel the road of life
Think of me…think of me…

In very special ways, everything
that everyone does, day in, day out,
impacts some one other, in some way
remarkable.

Well done, PdV.  So, goodbye to 2006,
and Welcome 2007.  Happy New Year!

Around here we don't say good bye. We say See ya somewhere in the future. Maybe not the whole sentance but see ya later is a common line. Safe journey.
