Goodbye is such a sad word Final, without potential It’s not required to say it In leaving, it’s not essential It would be nice to know That your life was impacted By the words I wrote, By the way that I interacted Touching my heart as you have It’s hard holding back the tears Goodbye is such a final word At last, after all these years Take a breath, smile as though We knew it would always be And as you travel the road of life Think of me…think of me… |

Around here we don't say good bye. We say See ya somewhere in the future. Maybe not the whole sentance but see ya later is a common line. Safe journey. |
