I’ve Fallen through a Crack I’ve fallen through a mental crack While searching for a fancies ploy And tumbled hard ass over back Caught and hung a subtle annoy Hung like a plum on a thumb I could not make sense of the place Blamed it on drinking too much rum I’d emptied the whole of a case I thought that I could find a field A greener pasture of display Where I could harvest up a yield Of pleasure and pleasures array But all I found was red hot spice That swelled my tongue and red my rind And echoes roared of rattling ice That shattered the whole of my mind Watch where you walk the living crack Or you will fall ass over back |
