there will always be sun there
at the veranda overlooking sinful
and you will always have the craving
to be tan and tan lineless

I have seen it in your eyes
when you said you missed the bad
that you were never given as choice
and you really want to know it

just for research of course
not to be part of the condition
that takes over a lover's mind
and makes them do things delightful

but then they see there is a line
at all of the entrances of proper
so they just sneek in sometimes
and get it all over them quickly

pretending they were never really there

_____________

daark

A most excellent writ of wit... just enough... one touch 'over the line' (tan line that is... if one is lucky). I really enjoyed this for its tongue in cheek (and elsewhere) illusions. Write On!!

Enjoyed the image and the message. The opening stanza really sets up the meaning, like a creative thesis to a well-written essay.

I loved the tone.

A line at all the entrances of proper? Should know better than to dare daark to go where the sun doesn't shine. What a contradiction of terms!

No body observes proper entrances quite like you do...of course, just for research..
