~Brown Eyes, Green Eyes~
~*~
You have the brown eyes,  green eyes are mine
Within our eyes there is much love to shine
We see what has been in times past
There are hopes for the future when together at last


Emotions are left sometimes unsaid
But in our eyes they are always read
Happiness we feel together shows clear
Or sadness when departing, without each other near


These eyes, our love story, they always reveal
When apart from each other lonely shows without fail
Our love for each other in our eyes is ever found
My eyes, the green ones, and yours are the brown

I loved this Ethel

though brown was dominant in my family, I ended up with hazel

eyes hold so much, emotion and truth
