Confusion Results of taking the time to analyze a thought clearly Clarity Ability to see that which might have hope Hope The longing for something you desire Desire Is a two way street Leading to commitment Are you committed to realizing That the confusion you feel may be the desire and hope that can lead you to what you Clearly need US |

I've been thinking about this "want and need" issue more. Let's see if I can think it through clearly. You need something. Then you get it. Then you don't NEED it anymore, 'cause you HAVE it. and here's where confusion comes in, because WANT and NEED feel pretty much the same. For example, I WANT tequila, but what I need is more water. And then, there is the ever helpful opinions of others--like, um, MINE. Because while I NEED the water, there are some who would prefer I drink the tequila, because I am more pleasant when I have what I want instead of what I merely "need". Does that make sense? *laughing* Love ya Rich--and it will work out, and I'm really sorry you're having a rough time of it, especially at this time of year. But you will make it. I have more than a little faith in you. |
