How precarious the human emotional state can be.
How if all involved believe its love is it really meant to be.
If one believes in Fate, then its Destiny for me.
If one is a cynic, then its down to you and me.

I must admit that I am a little less one sided.
I believe in both the explanations provided.
The connection formed when life and destiny have collided.
The bond that may be deformed when initial lust has subsided.

How do emotions find their way through that tragic terrain.
How do you know when to leap or when to just refrain.
Do I leave it in the hands of Fate to provide the sunshine or the rain.
Do I say its all my fault and live life with emotional disdain.

So tell me those of you who live outside this realm.
Just who or what it is that is in control at my ships helm.

Its like driving on the freeway...you make choices; such as speed, when and where to get on and off, and where you want to go...if the choices are good, normally you will have a safe trip, if they are bad, perhaps disaster...James

There used to be a song by Savoy Brown

"You can't get a sneak preview
Over what you're gonna go through
So you have to rely
on your body and mind
to see the light from shade...."

Good questions

You are, of course!
Within broad limits.

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Well, I can hardly claim to live outside the realm, and I have to admit I don't know.  Maybe it's all set when we're still in the womb.  I really like the novel rhymes you used here, and the question posed.  I hope someone knows and will tell the both of us.

James,
Yes I know we all make choices. Where the confusion starts is; Did we make them based on what we think or by circumstance? And if its circumstance did some other force have a hand in our situation?

Eric,
One question, Which song by Savoy Brown is that? There are soooo many.

Interloper,
Yes very broad limits, the skys the limit but then its not.

Nan, I am not sure how or when its decided, merely pondering. I welcome the input of varying opinion though, who knows they may be all right. Thanks

Thank you all for your comments, I do so enjoy the world here, and the trickle over into the out of Passions world. Thanks Again!
