Bejeweled by loving friendship, Like the star upon the tree, A special kind of friendship, Between those I love and me. But like the stars in heaven, 'Tis never in our grasp, The friendship either grows with time, Or in time will surely pass. Vainly though we yearn to hold, Those stars within our view, They burn a little brighter, When I know that I have you. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |

Unfortunate that I have already learned this. All the friends over the years so far I have only 2 left; friendship is almost or even harder at times it seems to keep in check |
