The will to flee from tyranny
rises like a deadly snake
and freezes so the soul
in a protective mode.

Listen and I do
to the speak of wisdom
in warn and caution always
of the plight of poverty
destined so to strike
the body beautiful.

Beware, beware, this cut and thrust
that threatens the aware
because money rules the moves
and age the closing chapter
in the last and final book
of everybody’s dreams.

And in this cold, so cold, repose
un-cried tears in angry vibes
become true icicles
in the gut of love.

‘tis not the fear that brings the melt
but the drip, drip, drip, of strength
that holds the cold a thing apart
from the truthfulness of heart!

Helen,
come er

it is sad that we must be part of evil men's lust for money...and yet perhaps to, they serve a lesson for us to view....

God bless you sweet woman of prose....
