She has dazzling eyes of emerald green, She speaks with an angel's voice, A purity of soul I've rarely seen, For I fell in love... I had no choice. Her soft lips kiss... with delicate touch, She smiles a smile of radiance born, Her poise, her manner, her grace and such, I surrendered myself... and my soul was torn. To love just one, this life we try, A tightrope walked on slender wire, And if we fall... both shall die, For who but a wise man could ignore desire. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |
