asleep for years upon her soul she answers to a voice she does not know a voice of comfort and of pain that travels the distance to her mind. she asks simply what have I become the mother, wife the forgotten one, all too many want her time all to many ignore her cries. to be held once more in comfort, to be carressed, kissed and held, not expected to care for everyone but herself to once more love. |
