If courage is a virtue,
And hate's a mortal sin,
Is love a foolish notion?
A game you just can't win.

Is the price you pay too costly?
In a duel you'll surely lose,
Prepare for death sublimely,
Pick the weapon you want to choose.

But select your weapon quickly,

For love's a foolish pastime,

I do not know if courage is a virtue. In fact, there are times I can't tell the difference between the courageous and the foolhardy. But both attributes can be applied to the ways of love--and rules of game are best left to sport, like um, football yes?
