I sat in sunlight, melting from snow thoughts that powdered me into a blues tune, mixed with an ice-cold salsa It was an intoxication similar to the bite of your eyes You thought my spin was slight I’m no dizzy woman new to love I just really like celebrating that old feeling when I knew you before your ingredients tried to wear me like an old coat with a new scent that wasn’t mine and it won’t be this time either |

Reg, With growth is change anad things rarely remain the same. But then you just said that so much better. It's lovely. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |

Rwoods nothing to critique here~ I enjoyed the creativity here. You have done a excellent job on this poem I sat in sunlight, melting from snow thoughts that powdered me into a blues tune, mixed <------ with an ice-cold salsa <------ It was an intoxication similar to the bite of your eyes Poetry is just the evidence of life. |
