     Love Recalled

In rooms where the dawn
   seems cheapened
by the night’s regrets
and life’s a shallow shell
of shadows falling on
   my heart
‘til memories of you....
   and your fine love
shake the fossil-sunshine
   from my soul
to thaw some hopes
   and dreams
flash-frozen in the
   looking glass....
I can taste again
the flavored seasons
   of love’s content!

Those first three lines seem to stand out for me. I love imagery and they do a fine job.
