You took a peek into my heart

and plucked my emotions by the root

like popping up daisies

you sowed my garden

Its not a Haiku or even a Senryu
I love it anyway

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

An interesting write that suggests two people involved emotionally aren't necessarily involved to the same degree. When this happens, good-bye seems like betrayal. Thanks for sharing this.

A haiku is a three line poem. The first line has five syllables, the second seven, and the third five. These poems traditionally had nature as a subject, and there was usually a word or phrase that indicated the season. A poem with the same structure that makes reference to the human situation is a senyru. The haiku may be Japanese in origin.
