Failed Lovers "In every relationship there will come a day when you will say, "Is this love, lust or infatuation; and ultimately question your ability to love." I'm no longer sure what we are to each other, we don't seem to be so clearly defined. Kisses we loved to share seem less important now, the grapes gone sour upon the vine. Rarely now my thoughts run to you nor do yours rush to mine. Perhaps we've becoming failed lovers, our love destined to be redefined. "I suppose some parts of love could be displayed through lust; but let not lust be the messenger nor the purveyor of love." JamesLee 07December 2006 Love-a deep and tender feeling of affection for or attachment or devotion to a person. Lust-a desire to gratify the senses; bodily appetite. Infatuate-to inspire with foolish or shallow love or affection. |
