They’ve surfaced again those feelings between us
You said you had thoughts about me – fantasies
You said you have had them for awhile
What I want to know is
Were they delightful
Were they colourful
Were they enjoyable
I hope they were
Did they ever really go away though
Or did they just mask themselves in various ways
Lurking in the shadows ever lurking
Waiting to surface at opportune moments
That we both struggle to deal with ....
