In The Moonlight Holding Hands (Pirmasens, Germany)

Reaching deep into my memory I can
remember a fraulein in Germany.
Me a young man of eighteen,
she perhaps all of seventeen.
We met in the Atlantic Dance Club,
we stood there holding hands,
and when the band began to play,
we joyfully danced the night away.
Later, we stopped by a friends house
and we made out on their couch.
She got excited and bit my tongue
and I remember saying "ouch".
When you're young and infatuated
life seems to be so grand;
in a club dancing,
on the couch romancing,
or in the moonlight
holding hands.
