Silent Night Abstractions, distractions, the factions and fractions of life paint a monochrome pastiche across the backs of my eyelids. I smell Mama’s kitchen, where my youngest son becomes my little brother, the same green-blue eyes excited-wide. Christmas nears, and the old enchanted day-forgotten catch of breath plays itself to a captive audience of one. When all the other actors have passed beyond the stage, or aged to different people, only I am left to wonder at it all. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Howdy, Pilgrim! "When all the other actors have passed beyond the stage, or aged to different people, only I am left to wonder at it all." ~ People change, but on a silent night, our memories can turn back the hands of Father Time. Lovely write! Love & Christmas Light, Linda |
