Some memories of my recent visit to Paris - I'm still suffering from PPD (post paris depression!) and writing about it helps me thru it!  Looking into other people's lives from across the street in a Paris neighborhood... The muscled black guy with no shirt looking out his window while checking his fridge contents every five minutes... The skinny white guy cooking dinner in his boxers... The couple eating and relaxing on their bed... The big black woman throwing clothes and shoes from her balcony onto the street below ... the strange black guy walking by and picking them up... The old woman sitting in a chair watching me watching her... The old man leaning out his window and smoking... The woman climbing onto the awning from her window and walking her cat at midnight... All a collection of memories All living life in Paris.. |

such beauty is life in the city, the places i don't exist in. maybe some day i can, will, cherrish. for now, i will do so vicariously through this and some others perhaps. |
