Sometimes I wonder why  it  is
that nights are silent before their time
and how  it  "use to be's" defense
follows me each evening's climb.

I use to have it   so I thought
although its been awhile since heard
from lips that catch me on the move.
My  it,   I guess, is not preferred.

I polish  it   in hopes some way
that hands would treasure  it   in hold.
For  it  remains until this day
in shadow's path behind the fold...

Of time and all its many wears,
a life alone in search of new.
My  it   leaves itprints in its dance.
And so I leave them here for you.
