                                        the New Year Times reads as follows:

                                           Some changes may occur this year
                                             Over Dear old Kringle's suit
                                           The EPA has called him
                                               It seems that it pollutes;

                                           "Update, update man and sleigh:
                                               E-check San-ta Suits,
                                             Check his whiskers and his hats,
                                              And Don't forget black boots!¨
                                             (If those don't slay 'em, nothin' will!)

                                            The kind old gent deserves new threads:
                                           Better stick with reds:
                                            Red Armani with white rose? (hottie Santa clothes!)
                                            Sure extinction for the snows!¨

                                           His suit may not work this year;
                                             Perhaps, a Calvin Kleim ?
                                           Up the chimney in fashionable taste
                                             Bells would surely chime!

                                            NO! NO! NO!¨   Mrs. Claus pouts.
                                            "Fur is in!  Soot is out,"
                                            On her soap box stands,
                                            Santa Dear, you came out clean!
                                           All is well and well are all,
                                           Christmas velvet will soon be seen!
                                           (BTW, Honey,  did I tell you the elves
                                           did your wash?  Your red turned handsome green)

thanks, Dixie; am having a trouble getting the spacing on the font right; my computer is on its las leg I'm afraid!
