And, on this day, as November goes on by, it is freezing. Will be down to 24 degrees tonight. Not sure what it will be tomorrow morning, when I have to leave for work at 6:30 or 7 a.m. |

to me...this is a most fine 'write'....... grand imagery.... I find it 'interesting' though, how just one word variance could 'change everything'...... I would likely have used the word 'angry' instead of 'aging' as a descriptor of 'Nov. skies'...ergo, then....I could just 'visualize' exactly such chilling and forlorn skies hangin' over the scene where I wrote of withered leaves and broken promises blowing down dirty November streets stained with discontent....etc. dearest 'spirits that be'.....aren't words grand fun to play with?! |
