Embrace Of Fire

Known not what tomorrow may bestow
Fate’s golden locks, lightning by in speeds of glory go
Needs bubble, simmering as molten springs, her truth it brings
This earthly realm, a thin and temporary shell, ablaze she clings

For the pierce of the Archer’s arrow finds home
The poetry and voice that otherwise cannot realize the tone
A spirit of fire that burns, raising flames to heaven render
Seeking him, in bold red arms, aching to be tender

Certainly the burn, such light that as immortal music’s waif
Changing colors as it dances on the hearth of faith
Hot enough to last the deep time promise of wise will
One heart, quivers to be held in place, the flame made still

That he knows his strength and courage to be sovereign
These arms require no vice, entrapments ice, protective covering
Once ignited, the soul’s china cheek to blush in ruddy lust
Smooth, and infinite glows her skin beneath his touch

For he holds her, as the chaste and visage splendor of his dream
Clarity delights his eyes, and melts the harsh ice castles cream
She burns, a fire that will not succumb, shapes changing to be one
This all economy once roving eyes, inside his soul she thrives as sun

Known not what tomorrow may bestow
Fate’s golden locks, lightning by in speeds of glory go
Needs bubble, simmering as molten springs, this song she sings
He gathers her in arms that will not break, nor fears ablaze she brings

Maybe the title should be
“The White Fay”, or “White Ghost”, or
“The Queen to be from Gwenhwyfar.”
Reminds me of Guinevere and King Arthur
A Welsh epic.
A wonderful read!!

you poetry is regal and outstanding
as you touch the imagination and make it seem like more than a silly dream

The entire poem is awesome, but these
lines felt very good to me.

Grand title! : “Embrace Of Fire”!

This is again verse where some of the lines and phrases are virtually ‘poems’
in and of themselves....such as: ‘immortal music’s waif ‘;

and powerful imagery! :

“inside his soul she thrives as sun”...or
“Needs bubble, simmering as molten springs,
    this song she sings”...or:
“Once ignited, the soul’s china cheek to blush in ruddy lust”...etc.

Wow!...much applause!
