Now I'd like to talk about you and me
About that part of love we all call needs
I don't need worship or all of your time
But a little tender touch sure makes my soul unwind

I always tighten up without your lovin
Feel like I'm trapped inside some locked up oven
Don't need to dwell upon the recipe for life
Just wanna mix up a little sugar and spice

A little bear rug huggin
Under the covers
A little intimacy for two lovers
Lonely days always end up sunny
When I can reach out and touch you honey

Fall or winter darlin summer or spring
Under all creation you're the purest thing
There's no one else meets my approval
Only you can give me tension removal

I know you can't be round all the time
You have to do your thing an I do mine
But I can only get by for a while by myself
An when you're away I'm always needin your help

A little bear rug huggin
Under the covers
A little intimacy for two lovers
Lonely days always end up sunny
When I can reach out and touch you honey

(bridge)
Glad to hear your voice on the phone
Tellin me about where you've been
But I sure wish you were home
For some face to face listenin

A little bear rug huggin
Under the covers
A little intimacy for two lovers
Lonely days always end up sunny
When I can reach out and touch you honey

the title of this lovely alone gave me a cushy feeling...soft, fluffy, warmth.  But upon reading, I am marveled at the openiness of your heart, mind and soul...for to me, a man who is not afraid to express his feelings, is comfortable in his skin

this was a joy to read.

Good to read you again

In this moment I am listening to Mark Knopfler and the sound melted so beautifully with your own very captivating words, dear Eric.

Very good job!
