you are aquiver
a Vesuvian vessel
that I shall ignite
~*~
tenderly touching
the firestorm you have become
I fear consumption

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

"feel the burn..."

Ya think

Chris ~
melting into one
hearts beating in unison
undenied passion

Martie ~
this fire burns too bright
the heat makes passion molten
rain will turn to steam

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Margrit ~
synchronous passion
our concurrent ecstacy
simultaneous

Nancy ~
let our actions speak
uncontainable trembling
fearless appeasement

Angel4aKing ~
I believe the water has now become steam

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

a depth of soul going beyond dreams
holding heartbreaks and victories
determined to stay the course
regardless of any obstacle
to love as much as any soul can love another
to brave where the weak fear to go
show me how to love you
share with me the light of day
as well as your coldest night
loving another so much that you would
allow them to go, if it meant their happiness
yet that mark of love remains in the heart forever...infinite, sweetly raised up in some spiritual confidence that all is well with the world

Your poem is simply beautiful and inspiring.

I read this, went to post and tell you I am running to get Sea as she would be sorry she missed this one!  There she is - right above me, and you two couldn't do a little something together for the holidays could you?  Nice to read your words again.

Not only did I love your poem but the inspiration you ignited in others.  Long may the fire of poetry burn for it is simply and only passion in words.
